The Auckland weightlifter Tracey Lambrechs has won a bronze medal in the over 75-kilo class at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

Lambrechs lifted 101 kilos in the snatch and 136 in the clean and jerk and her total of 237 was enough for bronze.
She finished fifth four years ago in Delhi.
However Lambrechs was well behind the top two with Nigerian Maryam Usman taking gold and defending champion Ele Opeloge of Samoa taking silver.
