Ish Sodhi took four wickets and Tom Latham hit a half century as New Zealand A recorded a comprehensive seven wicket win over Sri Lanka A in a three-nations tournament at Bristol.
New Zealand won the toss and elected to bowl in the 50 over encounter before Sodhi produced a devastating six over spell of leg spin to take four for 10.
Pace bowler Doug Bacewell chipped in with three wickets four 19 runs as Sri Lanka were dismissed for 140 off just 35 overs.
In reply, Tom Latham and Hamish Rutherford set their team's chase up with an 85 run opening stand.
Rutherford went for 38 just inside ten overs, before Latham was caught for 64 from 56.
