The Brumbies winger Joe Tomane has a minor hamstring strain, as does the Rebels prop Laurie Weeks.
Both injuries are considered to be relatively minor with the pair to be sidelined for only 2-3 weeks.
As cover, yhe Waratahs prop Paddy Ryan and the Melbourne Rebels winger Tom English will join the Australian squad on Monday.
