Several members of the New Zealand basketball team have been struck down by a stomach bug ahead of their opening match in Lithuania this weekend.

The Tall Blacks play Slovenia on Sunday morning as part of their build up to the World Cup in Spain later this month.
Assistant coach Paul Henare says eight members of the 14 strong squad have come down with the bug.
The Tall Blacks are also due to play Lithuania and Greece over the next few days.
