The Breakers have signed their second import and in doing so confirmed their 10th and final roster spot for the upcoming Australian national basketball season.

The Breakers coach Dean Vickerman signed the 29 year old Ibekwe while in Las Vegas recently.

Vickerman says while Ibekwe is a strong rebounder he also has a perimeter shot, is aggressive at both ends of the court and is mobile for a for a big man.

Ibekwe played at the University of Maryland for four years and since have played all over the world with stints in Israel, Germany, France, Turkey and most recently in Spain.

He's represented Nigeria at the World Championships and Olympic Games.

Ibekwe says he's aware of the standard in the ANBL as he has friends who've played in the competition.
