New Zealand's Andrew Kelly and Richard Collett have won the Hong Kong Pairs Classic bowls championship beating last year's singles world champion Safuan Said and another Malaysian Fazuir Izwan 22-16.

But after winning the singles Genevieve Baildon couldn't reach the double final with world champion Val Smith.

Malaysia's Siti Zalina Ahmad and lead Nor Ismael beat them 21-7 in the semi-finals.

Bowls New Zealand national coach Dave Edwards is still delighted with the overall performance from both teams and with Baildon's win.
