Silver Ferns selectors cast net wide

With less than a year to go until the netball world cup in Sydney, 26 of the country's elite netballers have been invited to trial for places in the 2014/2015 Silver Ferns squad.

In addition to the current incumbents and fringe players, invitations have also been extended to exciting young talent like Northern Mystics defender Temalisi Fakahokotau.

Jamie-Lee Price, the daughter of former Warriors captain Steve Price, has been included, along with Australian shooter Ameliaranne Wells, who's recently signed with the Pulse and is eligible by virtue of having a New Zealand father.
