Most batting failures given another chance in Pakistan series decider

The New Zealand cricket selectors are blaming poor technique for the Blackcaps dismal batting effort in the second test against Pakistan, but they've made just one change for the third and deciding test starting on Friday in Napier.

The Northern Districts bastman BJ Watling comes in for Peter Fulton after the Cantabrian produced two woeful innings in Wellington.

Most of the top six batsmen didn't fare a lot better than Fulton, but there aren't many alternatives and the Black Caps selector Mark Greatbach says they deserve another chance to prove themselves.
