The New Zealand golfer Lydia Ko has missed her final chance to become the youngest ever winner of a major after finishing in a tie for eighth at the Evian Masters in France.
The 17-year-old shot a final round even par 71 at the year's final major.
She'll be too old to break on of golf's oldest records when 2015's first major rolls around.
Ko picked up $95,000 for her eighth-placed finish in France.
The 19-year-old South Korean golfer Kim Hyo-joo won to claim her first major title.
Kim, who'd shot a record breaking nine-under-par 61 in the opening round, started the final day with a one shot lead, but she teed off on the final hole a shot behind the Australian veteran Karrie Webb, who couldn't make par, gifting the Korean the biggest win of her career.
