The Pumas sense they may create history and beat the All Blacks for the first time, in this weekend's Test in La Plata.
All Blacks assistant coach Ian Foster says the parochial La Plata crowd will be a hostile environment for the likes of Beauden Barrett who's set to start just his second test at first five, in the wake of the unscheduled absence of Aaron Cruden.
Barrett's only other Test start at first five was against the Pumas earlier this month in Napier and he struggled with the kicking duties.
On top of that he'll be part of an inexperienced combination with Maleki Fekitoa set to come in for the injured Maa' Nonu at second five.
In 19 Tests the closest Argentina have come is a 21-21 draw in Buenos Aires in 1985.
