The America's Cup-style Louis Vuitton regatta will return to Auckland next March.
The regatta builds on last February's inaugural event which has since evolved into an International series for teams sharing America's Cup class boats.
The Louis Vuitton Trophy has so far attracted nine teams which will share two Team New Zealand boats over a fortnight in mid-March.
Changes next year include the host Team New Zealand having to compete from the opening round, rather than going through to the Final, and the venue being shifted closer to the bars and restaurants in Auckland's Viaduct Harbour.
The event is part of a month long Auckland Festival of Sail which also includes the annual Auckland Match Race Regatta and the final of the BMW World Sailing Cup for amateur crews.
