All Blacks captain Richie McCaw is downplaying his historic 134th game for the team in the Test against the Springboks in Johannesburg.

McCaw will surpass Sir Colin Meads to hold the outright record for All Blacks appearances - but the skipper says he'll reflect on the achievement afterwards, and playing well and winning is more important.
The 33-year-old says reaching the milestone is not what excites him about an encounter at one of the toughest venues in world rugby, rather it's the All Blacks protecting their current 22-game unbeaten run.
McCaw says you reflect afterwards on those things but to play a match at Ellis Park against the Boks is excitement enough and what he's looking forward to the most.
Heavy rain fell and thunder crashed around the ground as McCaw spoke on Friday but with dry conditions expected for the match, he says he expects the Springboks to attack with ball in hand, as they did in the 28-10 victory over Australia in Cape Town last weekend.
