Windies collapse at the WACA

The West Indies cricketers have collapsed after lunch on the third day of the final test in Perth, losing six wickets for 32 runs to be dismissed for 312.

Australia made 520 for seven declared in their first innings and captain Ricky Ponting decided not to enforce the follow-on.

The left-arm pace bowler Doug Bollinger finished with five for 70 while the captain Chris Gayle top-scored for the tourists with 102 from 72 balls, the fifth fastest century in test history,
