The Olympic and world shot put champion Valerie Adams is making good progress as she recovers from shoulder surgery, says her manager Nick Cowan.
Adams was forced to withdraw from the season ending Continental Cup competition in Morocco last month after being affected by a pain killing injection for the injury which she's competed with throughout the year.
Adams had surgery three weeks ago and had a check up with her surgeon today.
Cowan says the medical team is happy and satisfied with progress and everything remains on track.
"Valerie is looking forward to increasing the rehab focus and work from today but things still remain slowly but surely and day by day".
