The San Francisco Giants have beaten the Kansas City Royals 5-0 at home, to take the lead in baseball's World Series by three games to two.
The Royals are now in must-win mode in the best of seven series, heading into game six on Wednesday - also in San Francisco.
Giants ace pitcher Madison Bumgarner dominated Kansas City in a complete-game 5-0 shutout, the big left-hander breezing through the contest, allowing just four hits and striking out eight.
A triumph in either of the final two scheduled games would give San Francisco a third World Series championship in five years.
Meanwhile one of baseball's brightest prospects, the 22-year-old St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Oscar Taveras, has been killed in a car crash in the Dominican Republic.
Taveras' girlfriend Edilia Arvelo was also killed.
