Hansen says this side is not inexperienced

Only Kieran Read, fullback Israel Dagg, right wing Cory Jane and first five Aaron Cruden boast more than 25 caps in the starting 15.

However Hansen says Charlie Faumuina has been around a long time, Sam Cane is in the leadership group and Sonny Bill Williams has played various forms of rugby for a while - so while it may appear young, the side can't really be described as inexperienced.

Read captains the side for the eighth time in his 70th Test, with a young team named to start the match at Soldier Field.

Sam Cane starts on the openside, with regular skipper Richie McCaw rested.

Loosehead prop Joe Moody makes just his second start, while the hooker Nathan Harris makes his first.

Read's easily the most capped starting player, with only fullback Israel Dagg, wing Cory Jane and first five Aaron Cruden boasting more than 25 caps among the rest of the starting 15.

Loosehead prop Joe Moody makes just his second start, while hooker Nathan Harris plays his second Test alongside the comparatively experienced tighthead Charlie Faumuina, who has 23 caps - mostly off the bench.

Jeremy Thrush and Patrick Tuipulotu are the locks, Victor Vito the blindside flanker, Sam Cane the openside, TJ Perenara the halfback, Charles Piutau the left wing and Jane the right.

Dual international Sonny Bill Williams starts on his return to the team, and Ryan Crotty is his midfield partner at centre.

The match is a 61,500 capacity sell-out with the All Blacks playing in front of a record attendance for a rugby match in the USA.

By comparison the bench is virtually stacked with experience, with veteran No.10 Daniel Carter to play his 101st Test, hooker Keven Mealamu his 121st, and only young Counties Manukau and Chiefs halfback Augustine Pulu yet to play for the All Blacks.

The All Blacks and USA have played each other three times, most recently at the 1991 Rugby World Cup in Gloucester when the All Blacks won 46-6. The teams also played in 1980 in San Diego, and in 1913 in Berkeley - both in California.
