It's the Breakers' third straight victory and takes them to an early season record of seven wins and three losses

The Breakers had a terrible third quarter where they scored just three points, missing 12 straight shots but - led by a game-high 22 points from star guard Cedric Jackson - they woke up in the fourth quarter, to win comfortably.

Import centre Ekene Ibekwe continued his good form with 13 points off the bench.

The Breakers are third on the NBL ladder behind the Cairns Taipans (six and two) and the champion Perth Wildcats (five and two).

The Hawks are bottom with nine straight losses since their opening night win.
