Blair joined the Tigers from the Melbourne Storm in 2012 and had another year to run on his contract, but his request for an early release has been granted.

The 28-year-old Four Nations winner will link with the new coach Wayne Bennett in Brisbane.

The Broncos have cleaned out a number of front-rowers with Ben Hannant, David Hala and Martin Kennedy all joining rival NRL clubs.

Blair has played 192 NRL games plus 30 Tests for the Kiwis in a career that started at Melbourne in 2006.
