Abercrombie's missed the last two games with a quad injury and it was initially feared he could miss up to six weeks.

However he trained fully with the team on Thursday and will travel to Sydney if he can pass a fitness test in the morning.

Breakers coach Dean Vickerman says he's undecided over whether Abercrombie will start or come off the bench if he proves his fitness.

Meanwhile, the centre Alex Pledger is continuing to play through pain in his injured toe.

Pledger's delaying surgery on the injury to allow him to play through the season, but was visibly in pain during last week's win over the Kings.

He says he'll continue to manage the injury for as long as he can.

The Breakers have won their last five games and sit atop the NBL standings with a 9-3 record.
