Pakistan now lead the 5-match series 2-1.

After winning the toss Pakistan scored 364 for 7 in their 50 overs with Ahmed Shehzad making 113, while all the Black Cap bowlers got dealt to.

Matt Henry took 3 for 69, Mitchell McClenaghan 1 for 69, Corey Anderson 1 for 96, Jimmy Neesham none for 70, and Nathan McCullum 1 for 49.

In reply the New Zealanders couldn't put partnerships together with captain Kane Williamson top scoring with 46, Luke Ronchi 41, Tom Latham 34 and Ross Taylor 31.

They were bowled out for 217 in the 39th over.

Williamson says Pakistan batted outstandingly and put them under a lot of pressure and they didn't chase well.

He says in the field there were some basic things they didn't execute well that they can learn from.

The fourth match is in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday night.
