New Zealand striker Chris Wood has joined his fellow All White Tommy Smith at Championship side Ipswich Town, in a loan deal until the end of the season from Wood's Premier League club Leicester City.
Wood has made nine appearances for the Foxes this season, but has only started one game, scoring once, the equaliser in the Foxes' 2-2 draw with Everton in August.

The 23-year-old, whose career has now taken in stops at eight clubs, joined Leicester from West Bromwich Albion in January 2013.

Wood Tweeted that he's very happy to have signed for Ipswich til the end of the season: "Looking forward to the next few months and the promotion push!!"
He could make his Ipswich debut in the East Anglian derby game at Norwich on Monday.
