Fullback Sam Tomkins returns from injury to make his first start of the season for the Warriors in their round two National Rugby League match against the Raiders in Canberra on Sunday night.

Tomkins missed the first round loss to Newcastle with a hamstring injury.

Jonathan Wright will make his club debut on the right wing.

The selection results in Tuimoala Lolohea remaining in the starting side, shifting to the centres to replace the injured Konrad Hurrell.

Utility Ben Henry reverts to the interchange bench along with veteran hooker Nathan Friend and rookie props Sam Lisone and Albert Vete, both impressive in their debuts last weekend.

Warriors assistant coach Tony Iro says Wright is very experienced with close to 100 games and he was specifically brought to the club to fill that role of being able to play on the wing or in the centres.

The Warriors will start with the same pack used against the Knights.
