No details have been released by Cricket Scotland but British media reported that the off-spinner was unhappy about being dropped for the match against Sri Lanka in Hobart which they lost by 148 runs.

Born in Scotland and of Pakistani descent, Haq, who's played more than 200 times for Scotland, Tweeted: "Always tougher when you're in the minority! #colour #race."

Scotland have lost all five of their pool matches and they play Australia in their final match on Saturday.
