Mercedes picked up where they left off in the new Formula One season with defending champion Lewis Hamilton winning the Australian Grand Prix ahead of his team-mate Nico Rosberg in a familiar Mercedes one-two.
The 30-year-old Hamilton led from start to finish in a race in which just 11 cars reached the finish line.
Hamilton was joined on the podium by Arnold Schwarzenegger after securing victory and the star struck driver even joked about the Terminator star's height.
"Obviously a real pleasure to be here, we have the greatest fans here. My team did an amazing job today and it's an incredible feeling to continue on from last year but also to be up here with you man, I thought you were taller, you were taller on the Terminator."
Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel was third, an astonishing 34 seconds back from Rosberg's second placed Mercedes.
