The New Zealand golfer Lydia Ko has climbed the leaderboard four places after an impressive third round at the latest LPGA Tour event in California.

Tied for 9th at the start of play, the world number one fired a five under par 67 to finish in a tie for 5th, four strokes behind the leader.
The Korean Mirim Lee has held onto her position atop the leaderboard, picking up six strokes today be 16 under for the tournament.
The first major of the year starts next week.
