The New Zealander Michael Johnson has won his third gold medal of the season at the Paralympic Shooting World Cup in Turkey.
Competing in the prone, mixed gender R5 event, Johnson defeated his arch rival from Britain, Ryan Cockbill.
Using a support for their air rifles to hit the target from 10 metres, Cockbill had enjoyed a convincing lead until the second elimination round, before Johnson struck late to force a draw of 212.1 points after the last round.
An exciting shoot-off followed from which Johnson emerged victorious after shooting a 10.7 to Cockbill's 10.4.
Despite the Briton shooting a 10.3 and even a 10.9 with his last shot, Johnson had the edge with a 10.6 and 10.7.
The New Zealander Phillip Skinner made his international debut in the same event and placed 13th.
The High Performance Director of Paralympics New Zealand Malcolm Humm described Johnson's season so far as "outstanding."
The New Zealander has won gold medals at three Paralympic World Cup events this year which Hunn said "are key events on the road to the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games."
"Michael has shown his competitors he is at the top of his game."
