Fernando Torres struck in stoppage time to give Liverpool a 1-0 win at Aston Villa in English football's Premier League.
The win lifts Liverpool into seventh place on 33 points - one place and two points behind Villa.
At the other end of the table Hull City came from being two-nil down to share the points in a 2-2 draw away to relegation rivals Bolton Wanderers.
The stalemate's done little for either side's survival prospects, both teams staying in the relegation zone.
