Mike Tyson avoids charges in airport fracas

Mike Tyson will escape any further censure over an altercation with a paparazzi photographer at Los Angeles airport in November after prosecutors said they did not have enough evidence to charge the former heavyweight boxing champion.

Another veteran boxer Evander Holyfield can no doubt testify to Tyson's streetfighting approach after losing a chunk of his ear in that infamous title fight in 1997 -- and he's set to fight for another world belt.

Holyfield will challenge South African Francois Botha for the lightly regarded WBF world heavyweight title in Uganda in mid-January.

Holyfield hasn't fought since losing a points decision to Nikolai Valuev in a WBA title fight in December 2008, but the 47-year-old American believes a victory could give him a shot at a more prestigious title.
