The New Zealand golfer Ryan Fox has been brought crashing back down to earth in the third round of the British Open at St Andrews.
After firing a 3 under par second round, which included an eagle, to make the cut and climb to a tie for 25th on his Open debut.
However the 28-year-old shot a four over par third round overnight, to drop to 1 over for the tournament and into a tie for 78th.
Fox though isn't letting an off day dent his confidence before his final round and he's chasing a sub par finish in his first major.
The Irish amateur Paul Dunne is the joint clubhouse leader on 12 under par, with Australia's Jason Day and South African Louis Oosthuizen.
