Lakers go big on Dallas

11:49 am on 5 January 2010

Seven Lakers scored in double figures as the Los Angeles NBA champions routed Western Conference rivals Dallas 131-96.

Jordan Farmer led LA with 24 points, while Andrew Bynum added 19 on 8 of 8 shooting with five rebounds and four assists.

The Lakers' win over the second-best team in the Western Conference marked the biggest margin of victory ever between the two teams.

At Denver, Allen Iverson scored 17 points and Elton Brand added 16 as the Philadelphia 76ers held off a furious rally to beat the injury-riddled Nuggets 108-105.

The Nuggets played their second game in as many nights without their top two scorers, Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups.

Chris Bosh scored 22 points in Toronto to become the leading scorer in Raptors history as the home side enjoyed their sixth win in seven games, 91-86 over San Antonio.
