Documents filed with the court reveal Kenny-Dowall allegedly assaulted Ms Peris on seven separate occasions between October last year and June this year.

He also allegedly destroyed her mobile phone, used his phone to menace or harass her in May and stalked or intimidated her in June.

Kenny-Dowall did not speak in court and made no comment to waiting media as he left.

He is due to return to the NRL on Sunday when the Roosters play Newcastle.

His case will return to court next month where he will not have to appear.
