He's five strokes behind the runaway leader, the American Jim Furyk, who's on eight under par overall after a 66.

Ireland's Shane Lowry also hit a 66 and he's four shots behind Furyk, alongside the Americans Bubba Watson and Dustin Johnson.

Lee had the outright lead after the opening round, when he fired an opening round five under 65 to have a one-shot lead over Furyk and Englishman Graeme McDowell.

Lee's having a good season, he's currently 11th in the PGA Tour's money ranking after winning his first PGA tournament in May.

He's has had six top-10 finishes this season with earnings of $4.5 million and risen to a career high world ranking of 66.

The WGC invitational in Ohio has a limited field with just two of the world's top 50 players missing: the number one Rory McIlroy and number 22 Chris Kirk.
