The Ivory Coast striker Eugene Dadi will start for the Wellington Phoenix football side in their A league game against the Brisbane Roar at Westpac Stadium tonight.
The 36 year old joined the Phoenix from the Glory after Perth released him last Sunday.
Herbert's decision was made easier given Chris Greenacre's fitness, the English import still not ready to play.
Dadi's inclusion in the starting XI means Adrian Caceres - the star for the Phoenix in their 2-0 win against the Central Coast Mariners in Gosford last week - shifts to the sideline.
