Four medals for NZ para-shooters

The New Zealand Para-Shooting team have finished the IPC Shooting World Cup in Sydney with two gold, two bronze medals and an extra slot at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

Michael Johnson of Waiuku won an individual gold in the R4 (10m air rifle standing mixed SH2)before combining with Jason Eales and Philip Skinner of Waikato to win gold in the R5

(10m Air Rifle Prone Mixed SH2).

Johnson was also part of the R4 (10m air rifle standing mixed SH2) that won bronze with

Auckland's Grant Sharman Grant Philip from Christchurch.

Eales captured an individual bronze in the R5 (10m Air Rifle Prone Mixed SH2).

New Zealand now has two Rio 2016 slots confirmed for the sport of Para-Shooting.
