Fourth-seeded Ukrainian Alona Bondarenko has won the Hobart International tennis final, defeating second seed Israeli Shahar Peer 6-2 6-4.
Bondarenko heads to the Australian Open in Melbourne where she has drawn a qualifier in the first round.
The final is Peer's third appearance at Hobart and her best result.
She meets Czech Lucie Hradecka in the first round of the Australian Open next week.
