American golfer Ryan Palmer has held off Australia's Robert Allenby with a birdie on the last hole to win the PGA Sony Open by one shot in Hawaii.
The pair were tied for the lead going into the final day, and it looked as though it could go either way with both Palmer and Allenby playing an inconsistent fourth round.
But Palmer's birdie on the 18th hole gave him a four-under-par 66 for the day and a 15-under total of 265 to clinch his third PGA Tour title.
