The Australian cricketers have beaten Pakistan by 231 runs in their third test in Hobart to bring up a record 12th straight win over the visitors and win the series 3-nil.
A double century and 89 from Australia's captain Ricky Ponting almost put the win out of reach for the visitors, but off-spinner Nathan Hauritz took 3 wickets for just 30 runs to ensure the victory for the home side.
Pakistan and Australia will now play a five-match one day series, with the first to be played on Friday in Brisbane.
