New Zealand squash number three Martin Knight's recorded his best ever result, winning the latest PSA World Tour tournament in Vancouver.
Knight from Wellington beat Aucklander Campbell Grayson 3-0 in the final to avenge last year's loss to the number two in the New Zealand Open.
Knight's revealed he used inside knowledge in his win - he roomed with Grayson for the week and knew his opponent was struggling with fatigue, so he kept up the pace in the final.
Knight called it "a dream start" to 2010. He's spending three months playing in North America and hopes to crack the world's top 32 by April - he's currently ranked 48th.
His next assignment is a tournament in Calgary.
