Breakers too good for Adelaide at home

The New Zealand Breakers have redeemed their first-round defeat to the Adelaide 36ers in the National Basketball League with a win over the same team at home on the North Shore.

At full-time the score read 98-88 to the Breakers.

American import Charles Jackson and Guam forward Tai Wesley made big impacts for the Breakers, with Jackson making 21 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, while Wesley scored 26 points and nabbed eight rebounds.

Point guard Corey Webster also had an impressive night at the office with 20 points.

The Breakers are now third on the ANBL ladder and will play Melbourne United next on Sunday.
