Breakers broken in Perth

The New Zealand Breakers remain third in the Australian National Basketball League despite losing 86-80 to the Wildcats in Perth on Friday.

Perth's American import Jermaine Beal lead the scoring for the homeside with 19 points while the Breakers' Corey Webster top scored for the match with 23.

The defending champion New Zealanders have won just one of six away games this season, but have won all six of their games at home.

The Breakers and Wildcats meet again in Auckland on Wednesday.
