New Zealand tennis No.1 Marina Erakovic has drawn Portugal's Michelle Larcher De Brito in the first round of qualifying at the Australian Open.
Erakovic, who's ranked 88 places higher than De Brito, is the 24th seed in qualifying and will need to win three matches if she is to make the main draw.

Erakovic is ranked 138th in the world to De Brito's 222nd.
Erakovic has a best result of second round at the Australian Open singles in 2009, 2012 and 2014.
De Brito has been ranked inside the top 80 and beat Erakovic on the one previous occasion they played, although that was several years ago in qualifying at Memphis in 2011.
Erakovic is likely to have her match scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.
