The Wellington athlete Melissa Moon has won the women's section of the Empire State Building run in New York.
The 40-year-old former world Mountain Running champion completed the 1,576 steps up 86 floors from the lobby of New York's tallest building to the outdoor observation deck in 13 minutes and 13 seconds.
Germany's Thomas Dold claimed his fifth successive men's victory in 10 minutes and 16 seconds.
