The All Blacks Sevens have beaten South Africa 19-14 to win the Vancouver leg of the World Series.
The result means New Zealand remain third overall in the championship but they are now just two points behind competition leaders Fiji and just one behind second placed South Africa.
South Africa scored first in the final but New Zealand replied with tries to, the player of the final, Sam Dickson and Kurt Baker to lead 14-7 at halfime.

New Zealand extended the lead to 19-7 when Lewis Ormond scored however South Africa wasn't done.
They narrowed the margin to 19-14 with a second try, but from the re-start and with time up South Africa kicked the ball out on the full giving New Zealand victory.
All Blacks sevens coach Sir Gordon Tietjens said he was pleased his side was able to bounce back so quickly after being upstaged by South Africa in the Las Vegas quarter final last week.
"We turned that around to make it our third cup victory in the world series this year and it's put us up in the points so pretty happy with that."
Tietjens said to beat South Africa, who were in the best form all tournament, was very rewarding.
"They'd won all their games convincingly which was a real concern, but sometimes you need some tough wins as well and they'd only had one real tough one against Fiji so yea we adapted a game plan to play them and it worked and it's really pleasing to win the first tournament here in Canada," Tietjens said.
In the semi-finals New Zealand beat Australia 29-19 to deny them a third consecutive World Series final appearance.
Australia went on to finish third beating Fiji 19-14 in the third-place playoff.
The next tournament in the world series is in Hong Kong next month.
