McClenaghan's best not enough for Mumbai

12:14 pm on 17 April 2016

Career best IPL figures by Black Caps fast bowler Mitchell McClenaghan haven't been enough to help his Mumbai Indians side to victory over Brendon McCullum's Gujurat Lions.

McClenaghan took 4-21 from four overs but it was Australia opener Aaron Finch, whose unbeaten 67 off 54 balls guided his side to a three wicket win.

Finch hit a boundary off the final ball of the match after Mumbai had set Gujarat 149 to win.

Former Black Caps skipper McCullum made just six for Gujurat while Tim Southee clubbed 25 off just 11 balls for Mumbai.

McClenaghan is now the leading wicket-taker in IPL with six wickets.
