Ko picked up three strokes in her final round 69 to finish at five under in Oahu, 11 strokes behind Lee.

The New Zealander had a solid week since winning her second Major title in California at the start of the month, shooting rounds 72, 71, and 71.

She caught fire on the back nine on Sunday at the Ko Olina golf club, hitting birdies on holes 10 through 13 and then 15.

Lee moved into the lead on day one in Hawaii, relinquishing it to America's Katie Burnett after the third round before storming to victory on the final day.
