Crusaders rout Brumbies

The Crusaders have thrashed the ACT Brumbies 40-14 in Canberra, to move to within one point of Super Rugby leaders the Chiefs.

The Crusaders are second in both the Australasian and New Zealand conferences as well as second overall.

The Crusaders scored six tries to two, as they inflicted the worst-ever home losing margin on the Brumbies.

It's the Brumbies' third loss of the season, leaving the Canberra-based franchise sitting a point behind the Rebels on the Australian conference standings.
