The All Whites will have to rely on matches against Queensland club sides to prepare them for the Oceania Nations Cup in Papua New Guinea next month.
The All Whites will have to rely on buildup matches against Queensland club sides to prepare them for the Oceania Nations Cup in Papua New Guinea next month.
Coach Anthony Hudson will hold a training camp in Auckland next week after which he will name his squad for the tournament.
The side will then spend a week in Brisbane playing Western Pride, Redlands United and Brisbane City before heading to PNG.
"We need three games in this period, so everyone can get game time before going to Papua New Guinea," said Hudson.

New Zealand Football failed to secure an international match for the March international window and the All Whites playedonly three games last year, their last a 1-nil win over Oman in Muscat in November.
"We also need to acclimatise to the conditions which is why Brisbane will be perfect for us, and we want as many days on the training pitch as possible, hence why are we staying in one place and reducing any unnecessary travel time," said Hudson.
The winner of the tournament will qualify for the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia.
