Manawatu golfer Tim Wilkinson has climbed 39 places to a tie for seventh following an impressive third round at the latest PGA Tour event in Texas.

Wilkinson carded a seven under par 63 to move to 11 under for the tournament, five shots off the lead.
He shot seven birdies in his blemish free round.
Fellow New Zealander Danny Lee is ted for 13th on nine under after firing a one under par 69.
Meanwhile Lydia Ko shot a third round three under par 68 to be tied for 24th at the latest LPGA event in Virginia, six shots off the pace.
