New Zealand boxer Shane Cameron will face the former rugby league player John Hopoate next month despite the heavyweight bout being called off yesterday.
The fight, scheduled for mid-March, was called off without explanation by Hopoate.
But Cameron's manager Ken Reinsfield says he's had a call from the Australian Promoters and Hopoate wants the fight to go ahead as planned.
Cameron will face Hopoate in Melbourne on March 18 in his first fight since he was beaten by David Tua last October.
