Warriors lose to Manly by one point

The New Zealand Warriors have been pipped by the Manly Sea Eagles 15-14 in their National Rugby League match in Perth.

At full time, the two teams were level on 14 points, before Manly's Daly Cherry-Evans kicked a field goal in extra-time to secure the golden point victory.

Tom Trbojevic scored the opening try for Manly which was followed by a four pointer from his team mate Jorge Taufua.

Bunty Afoa got the Warriors on the board with a try in the 23rd minute before grounding his second six minutes later.

A penalty goal from Manly's Jamie Lyon gave the Sea Eagles a 14-12 half-time advantage, which was how the score line stayed until the 73rd minute, when Isaac Luke responded with a penalty goal of his own.
